ER is Sealmaster's cylindrical-OD insert bearing — designed to be pressed directly into a housing, such as a steel plate or conveyor roll, rather than mounted with a separate pillow block or flange unit. The setscrew lock uses three points spaced 120 degrees apart, which balances the load on the inner ring better than a single setscrew and resists loosening under vibration.
